Business Energy Retrofit
The Business Energy Retrofit Program (BER) is designed to aid in financing the energy retrofit project. The BER Program will support and provide the business 1/3 up to $20,000 in eligible retrofit expenses.
Businesses are encouraged to return the BER Program Application and Release Form by February 1. Please see the attached information, and spread the word to your local businesses. Information is also available online (www.aeoa.org/housing/businessenergyretrofit).

In addition there is the Property-Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program. Through PACE, energy-saving measures pursued by the owners receive project financing and are repaid as a separate item on their property tax assessment for a set period. PACE eliminates the burden of upfront costs by providing low-cost, long-term financing. PACE is currently available throughout St. Louis and Cook counties (www.cleanenergyresourceteams.org/pace).
