RESOLUTION NUMBER 12-23

ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS

WHEREAS, Resolution Number 23-22 was adopted by the City Council on the 5^th day of December, 2022, applying for a Community Development Block Grant and Resolution Number 20-22 was adopted by the City Council on the 17^th day of October, 2022, applying for an IRRRB Grant for the proposed Drainage Improvement Project’s, and

WHEREAS, the City of Mountain Iron was awarded funding under the Community Development Block Grant and the IRRRB program for the drainage improvement projects.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA:

1. Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the Community Development Block Grant and the IRRRR Grant application.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as outlined in the Community Development Block Grant and IRRRB Grant application.
3. Benchmark Engineering is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.

DULY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 5^th DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2023.
