RESOLUTION NUMBER 08-23

AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF TAX FORFEITED LAND

WHEREAS, the City of Mountain Iron has received from the County of Saint Louis a list of lands in said municipality which became the property of the State of Minnesota for non-payment of real estate taxes, and

WHEREAS, provided in the Minnesota Status 282, the City Council is asked to approve the public sale of these parcels, or to indicate which parcels the City wishes to acquire, and

WHEREAS, the City desires to obtain title to parcels PIN 175‐0020‐00390 and 175‐0070‐01269, and

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA that the City Council of the City of Mountain Iron does approve the purchase of parcels PIN 175‐0020‐00390 and 175‐0070‐01269.

DULY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 6th DAY OF MARCH, 2023.
