Resolution Number 01-16 Concurring in Change with CSAH Designation

WHEREAS, the County Board of Saint Louis County plans to revise the designation of County State Aid Highway Numbers 102 and 109 within the corporate limits of the City of Mountain Iron, Minnesota, as follows:

 

CSAH routes to be reverted to St. Louis County local road jurisdiction:

 

  • CSAH 102 – From 0.49 mile north of CSAH 103 to 0.93 mile north of CSAH 103

CSAH segment # 069-702-050, length 0.44 mile

 

  • CSAH 102 – From 0.93 mile north of CSAH 103 to 1.2 miles north of CSAH 103

CSAH segment # 069-702-051, length 0.27 mile

 

  • CSAH 102 – From 1.2 miles north of CSAH 103 to Sixth Street

CSAH segment # 069-702-052, length 0.10 mile

 

  • CSAH 102 – From Sixth Street to 0.35 mile north

CSAH segment #069-702-060, length 0.35 mile

 

  • CSAH 102 – From 0.35 mile north of Sixth Street to 0.67 mile north of Sixth Street

CSAH segment # 069-702-070, length 0.32 mile

 

  • CSAH 102 – From 0.67 mile north of Sixth Street to 0.97 mile north of Sixth Street

CSAH segment # 069-702-071, length 0.30 mile

 

  • CSAH 102 – From 0.97 mile north of Sixth Street to 0.40 mile west of CSAH 109

CSAH segment # 069-702-072, length 0.98 mile

 

  • CSAH 102 – From 0.40 mile west of CSAH 109 to Trunk Highway 53

CSAH segment # 069-702-080, length 1.30 miles

 

  • CSAH 109 – From U.S. 169 Expressway to CSAH 102

CSAH segment # 069-709-020, length 1.20 miles

 

Total reversion to St. Louis County local road jurisdiction – 5.26 miles

 

St. Louis County local road jurisdiction routes to be designated CSAH:

 

  • Mineral Avenue (now CSAH 102) – From 0.49 mile north of CSAH 103 to new intersection

with CR 102 –  to be designated CSAH 102, length 0.33 mile

 

  • CR 102 (new construction) – From Mineral Avenue (now CSAH 102) to Nichols

Avenue (Now CSAH 109) – to be designated CSAH 102, length 1.79 mile

 

  • Nichols Avenue (Now CSAH 109) – From CR 102 (new construction/Park Ridge Drive)

                        to U.S. 169 Expressway – to be designated CSAH 102, length 0.22 mile

 

Total new CSAH designation – 2.34 miles

 

As shown on the attached map.

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that said revision is in all things approved.

DULY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 4h DAY OF JANUARY, 2016.
