Resolution 61-99 Authorizing Transfer of Property

RESOLUTION NUMBER 61-99

AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES

WHEREAS, the City Council in and for the City of Mountain Iron has heretofore determined that it is beneficial to the City of Mountain Iron to convey certain properties to the Housing & Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Mountain Iron.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Administrator execute the deeds to convey to Mountain Iron Housing and Redevelopment Authority, real properties in St. Louis County, Minnesota, described as follows:

Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NW 1/4 of SE 1/4) excepting that part North of Railroad right-of-way and except Railroad right-of-way, Section 10, Township 58 North, Range 18 West.

AND

Southwest Quarter of Southeast Quarter (SW 1/4 of SE 1/4), Section 10, Township 58 North, Range 18 West, excepting the highway right-of-way and except that part located southerly of the highway right-of-way.

AND

Southeast Quarter of Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4 of SE 1/4), Section 10, Township 58 North, Range 18 West, excepting the highway right-of-way and except that part located southerly of the highway right-of-way.

AND

Northeast Quarter of Southeast Quarter (NE 1/4 of SE 1/4), Section 10, Township 58 North, Range 18 West.

AND

Northwest Quarter of Southwest Quarter (NW 1/4 of SW 1/4), Section 11, Township 58 North, Range 18 West, which lies westerly of Parkville Creek except for highway right-of-way.

AND

Northeast Quarter of Southeast Quarter (NE 1/4 of SE 1/4), Section 11, Township 58 North, Range 18 West, excepting the Southerly 450 feet and excepting the Northerly 505.16 feet of the Easterly 370.13 feet and excepting the Southerly 225 feet of the Northerly 800 feet of the easterly 300 feet.

DULY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 20TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1999.
