Resolution 53-00 Mesabi Trail
APPROVING CONSTRUCTION PLAN FOR MOUNTAIN IRON TO KINNEY MULTI-USE TRAIL, MN PROJECT NO. 69-090-05
WHEREAS, the Saint Louis and Lake Counties Regional Railroad Authority is in the process of constructing a multi-use trail running form the City of Grand Rapids to the City of Ely, and
WHEREAS, a segment of said trial is proposed to be constructed in the City of Mountain Iron, located in Saint Louis County, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mountain Iron has reviewed the construction plans for the multi-use trail, MN Project No. 69-090-05, and
WHEREAS, after review of said plans, the Council has determined that the construction of the trail and the location and manner as set forth in the plans is in the best interest of the City of Mountain Iron,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Mountain Iron, Minnesota, does hereby approve construction plans for the Mountain Iron segment of said multi-use trail, MN Project No. 69-090-05, as submitted to the Council by the State of Minnesota and the Saint Louis and Lake Counties Regional Railroad Authority.
Duly adopted by the City Council this 20th day of November, 2000.
