Resolution 48-00 Data Practices Official
APPOINTMENT OF DATA PRACTICES COMPLIANCE OFFICIAL
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 13.05, Subd. 13 requires that the City appoint a City employee to act as its date practices compliance officer to receive questions or concerns regarding problems in obtaining access to data and other data practices problems within the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council shares the concern expressed by the Legislature about access to City data and wishes to satisfy this concern by immediately appointing qualified data practices compliance official as required under statutes.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Mountain Iron, Minnesota, that the City Council appoints Craig J. Wainio as the data practices compliance official to receive questions and concerns regarding problems in obtaining access to data or other data practices problems.
Duly adopted by the City Council this 16th day of October, 2000.
