Resolution 41-01 Supporting MIB Referendum

WHEREAS, the City of Mountain Iron believes that a healthy school district is essential to the vitality of a Community, and;

WHEREAS, the City of Mountain Iron believes the Mountain Iron Buhl school district educates the young people to become fine, upstanding members of the Community, and;

WHEREAS, the City of Mountain Iron believes support of the referendum will be in the best financial interest of the citizens of Mountain Iron.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that it fully supports the proposed Excess Levy Referendum offered by the Mountain Iron Buhl School District.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that the City of Mountain Iron encourages all the citizens of Mountain Iron to vote yes for the referendum on November 6, 2001.

DULY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 15TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 2001
