Resolution 40-98 Authorizing Agreement
APPROVING A STORM WATER MANAGEMENT SERVICE CONTRACT WITH HDR ENGINEERING, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Mountain Iron has a Watershed Management Plan; and
WHEREAS, The City of Mountain Iron and City of Virginia have an agreement to resolve many of the inter-community flooding problems; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a Flood Mitigation Grant; and
WHEREAS, HDR Engineering, Inc., has been instrumental in putting this plan together; and
WHEREAS, Mountain Iron and Virginia share in the cost of the improvements of many of these problems, which will take place of the next few years,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED to approve a professional services agreement with HDR Engineering, Inc., in the amount of $48,800.00.
Adopted by the Mountain Iron City Council this 21st day of September, 1998.
