Resolution 39-02 Ordering Report
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the proposed commercial development located in the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter and the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 11, Township 58 North, Range 18 West, all in the City of Mountain Iron, St. Louis County, Minnesota hereby petition that such property be improved by the installation of infrastructure filed with the City Council on September 3, 2002, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minn. Stat. � 429.035.
2. The petition is hereby referred to Benchmark Engineering and that person is instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the City Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
