RESOLUTION NUMBER 36-17

AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY

WHEREAS, the property described in Exhibit A had been dedicated as a City Park and the Park designation has been vacated; and,

WHEREAS, the City has requested RGGS Land & Minerals LTD. to release all interested in the property described in Exhibit A; and,

WHEREAS, RGGS Land & Minerals LTD. has agreed to release its interest in the property described in Exhibit A.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that:

1. Acquisition of the Exhibit A property is hereby approved.

2. In exchange for the acquisition of the property in Exhibit A the City of Mountain Iron authorizes a payment in the amount of $4000.00 to RGGS Land & Minerals LTD.

3. The Mayor and City Administrator are to execute all documents necessary to effect the transaction.
