Resolution 28-00 Approving Agreement

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that the City of Mountain Iron enter into MN/DoT Agreement No. 80469 with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes:

To provide for a lump sum payment by the State to the City for it’s share of the costs of the turn lanes and crossover construction and other associated construction to be performed upon, along and adjacent to Truck Highway No. 169 and 8th Street South (Merritt Elementary School entrance) within the corporate City limits under State Project No. 6935-83 (T. H. 169=035).

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and the City Administrator are hereby authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
