Resolution 26-01 Accepting Work

WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City on August 22, 2000, Mesabi Bituminous of Gilbert, Minnesota has satisfactorily completed the improvement of the Streets identified below:

21st Avenue West From 8th Street South to 9th Street South

Greenwood Lane From Mineral Avenue to Fairview Lane

Old Highway 169 From Slate Street to West

Spruce Drive From County 7 to North Court

Main Street From Mesabi Avenue to Mineral Avenue

5th Avenue From County 109 to 2nd Street

Merritt Place From Greenwood Lane to Park Drive

Aspen Lane From Tamarack Drive to Spruce Drive

Balsam Drive From Aspen Lane to Spruce Drive

Mesabi Avenue From Locomotive Street to Agate Street

2nd Street From RR Grade to Parkville Road

Centennial Drive From County 7 to West 25th Avenue

Dottie Lane Centennial Drive to end of cul-de-sac

In accordance with such contract,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Mountain Iron, Minnesota, the work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of Mountain Iron, Minnesota, that the City Administrator and Mayor are hereby directed to issue a proper order for the final payment on such contract, taking the contractor�s receipt in full.
