Resolution 23-99 Public Road Dedication
DEDICATING CERTAIN PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES
WHEREAS, Halberg Construction and Supply, Inc. conveyed to the City of Mountain Iron, pursuant to Quit Claim Deed dated September 19, 1997, and filed in the office of the St. Louis County Recorder on October 24, 1997, as Document No. 699809, the following described real property located in St. Louis County, Minnesota, legally described as follows, to wit:
All that portion of Lots 1, 2 and 19, Block 2, and Lots 1 and 2, Block 3, WEST VIRGINIA, lying Easterly of a line parallel with and 13.50 feet East of the Easterly right-of-way of Railroad Avenue, and lying Westerly of a line parallel with and 19.0 feet East of the Easterly right-of-way of said Railroad Avenue, according to said plat, which is now referred to as Eighteenth Avenue.
WHEREAS, said property was acquired for public road purposes and that pursuant thereto, the City of Mountain Iron in fact widened said Eighteenth Avenue to include all of said property;
WHEREAS, said property is now a part of the public road known as Eighteenth Avenue;
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Mountain Iron formally accepts the Conveyance of said property for public road purposes, to be a part of Eighteenth Avenue, in the City of Mountain Iron, State of Minnesota.
Duly adopted this 21st day of June, 1999.
