Resolution 19-00 Authorizing QCJEDA
AUTHORIZING QUAD CITIES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND MAKING THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN IRON’S APPOINTMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Mountain Iron believes in the Quad Cities Cooperation; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Mountain Iron desires to be a part of the Quad Cities Economic Development Authority,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Administrator execute the Quad Cities Economic Development Authority Joint Powers Agreement on behalf of the City.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that Mayor Mitchell Brunfelt be appointed as the City of Mountain Iron’s representative on the Board of Commissioner’s for the Quad Cities Economic Development Authority for a term to expire on December 31, 2001.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that the City make a prorated payment to fulfill its year 2000 commitment as set forth in the Quad Cities Economic Development Authority Joint Powers Agreement.
DULY ADOPTED by the City Council THIS 15TH DAY OF MAY, 2000.
