Resolution 18-98 Ordering Report
ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve 8th Street between the centerline line of Park Drive and a line approximately 2400 feet west of the intersection of 8th Street and County Road 109 in the City of Mountain Iron by installing water and sewer mains and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statues, Chapter 429,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA:
That the proposed improvement be referred to Benchmark Engineering for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
