RESOLUTION NUMBER 16-99

AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY

WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore determined that it is beneficial to the City of Mountain Iron to convey certain property to Range Regional Health Services d/b/a University Medical Center-Mesabi, a Minnesota corporation.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Administrator execute the deed to convey to Range Regional Health Services d/b/a University Medical Center-Mesabi, a Minnesota corporation, real property in St. Louis County, Minnesota, described as follows:

Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 12, Township 58 North, Range 18 West of the Fourth Principal Meridian in the City of Mountain Iron, St. Louis County, Minnesota, as described as follows:

Commencing at a point on the west line 570.22 feet north of the southwest corner of said Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, and assigning a bearing of North 04 degrees 38 minutes 03 seconds West to said west line; thence South 89 degrees 05 minutes 17 seconds East 100.47 feet to the point of beginning of the parcel to be described; thence continue South 89 degrees 05 minutes 17 seconds East along the previous Trunk Highway No. 169 right of way 255.81 feet; thence northeasterly 235.37 feet along the northerly right of way of South Enterprise Drive, along a non-tangential curve concave to the southeast the center of circle for said curve bears South 36 degrees 33 minutes 15 seconds East, with a radius of 378.59 feet and a central angle of 35 degrees 37 minutes 17 seconds; thence North 00 degrees 55 minutes 58 seconds West 22.11 feet to the revised Trunk Highway No. 169 right of way as established in Minnesota Department of Transportation Document NO. S.P. 6935 (169=35) 902; thence North 89 degrees 05 minutes 17 seconds West along said right of way 482.92 feet; thence South 04 degrees 38 minutes 03 seconds East 100.47 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.84 acres more or less.

Adopted by the City Council this 17th day of May, 1999.
