Resolution 03-03 Supporting Highway
SUPPORTING THE DESIGNATION OF SENATOR WELLSTONE MEMORIAL DRIVE
WHEREAS, Senator Paul Wellstone was a friend to all in Northeastern Minnesota; and,
WHEREAS, Senator Paul Wellstone will be missed as a strong supporter of the area and the State of Minnesota; and,
WHEREAS, the people of Northeastern Minnesota would like to commemorate the late Senator Wellstone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that the City of Mountain Iron fully supports the designation of Miller Truck Road as Senator Wellstone Memorial Drive.
DULY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 21st DAY OF JANUARY 2003.
