Resolution 03-00 Highway 169 Intersection
REQUESTING A NEW INTERSECTION AT THE MERRITT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
WHEREAS, the City of Mountain Iron desires a new intersection on Highway 169 at the Merritt Elementary School; and,
WHEREAS, the City has requests that the Highway 169/Merritt Elementary intersection have stop lights; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Mountain Iron is no longer requesting stop lights at the Highway 169/County Road 109 intersection.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that the City hereby requests permission and cost sharing to construct an intersection on Highway 169 at Merritt Elementary, approximately 1/2 mile west of the Highway 169/County 109 intersection; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that the City would like the new intersection to have stop lights; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that it no longer requests stop lights at the intersection of Highway 169/County Road 109.
