Resolution 01-99 Sale of Property

WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore determined that it is beneficial to the City of Mountain Iron to convey certain property to Gordon Selmer Oie and Mary I. Oie, husband and wife.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Administrator execute the deed to convey to Gordon Selmer Oie and Mary I. Oie, husband and wife, joint tenants, real property in St. Louis County, Minnesota, described as follows:

The West 51.00 feet, except the South 20.00 feet of Lot One (1), Block Two (2), MERRITT�S FIRST ADDITION TO MOUNTAIN IRON, according to the recorded plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder in and for Saint Louis County, Minnesota.

Subject to a 10.00 foot sanitary sewer easement for the purpose of maintaining an existing sanitary sewer, the centerline of said easement is described as follows: beginning at a point on the east line 10.31 feet south of the northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence southwesterly to a point on the west line 9.79 feet south of the northwest corner of said Lot 1 and there terminating.

And also, subject to a 10.00 foot power line easement for the purpose of maintaining an existing overhead power line, the centerline of said easement is described as follows: beginning at a point on the east line 24.50 feet south of the northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence southwesterly to a point on the west line 21.53 feet south of the northwest corner of said Lot 1 and there terminating.
