Resolution 01-02 21st Century Minerals Fund

WHEREAS, the 21st Century Mineral Fund was created to maximize and strengthen Minnesota�s economy, and

WHEREAS, the economic future of Northeastern Minnesota and all of Minnesota depends on the 21st Century Fund for its development of value added mineral projects,

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that the City of Mountain Iron implores that Governor Ventura not use the 21st Century Fund to solve the State of Minnesota�s budget problems.

Duly adopted by the City Council this 7th day of January, 2002.
