Mountain Iron Planning and Zoning Commission

April 23, 2018

Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Steve Skogman.

Those Present: Jim Techar, Steve Erickson, Tim Johnston, Steve Skogman, Margaret Soyring, and Jerry Kujala, Planning and Zoning Administrator. Absent: Barb Fivecoate

Motion by Skogman and supported by Johnston to approve the minutes of the March 26, 2018 meeting as presented. Motion carried. Fivecoate absent.

The commission started to review the planning and zoning ordinances and realized that amendments have not been updated.

It was moved by Soyring and supported by Johnston that all members receive the updated ordinances so that they can be reviewed at the next meeting. Motion carried. Fivecoate absent.

After further discussion it was determined that the commission will meet on Tuesday May 29 to start reviewing the ordinances.

There was no other business.

Motion to adjourn at 7:40 by Techar and supported by Erickson. Motion carried. Fivecoate absent.
