Pro-tem Assumed Chairman Jim Techar called the Planning & Zoning meeting to order at 6:30pm with the following members present: Jim Techar, Margaret Soyring, Steve Hunter and Jerry Kujala, Zoning Administrator. Absent members: Barb Fivecoate and Steve Skogman.

 

It was moved by Soyring and seconded by Techar to approve the minutes of the April 26, 2021 meeting as presented. The motion carried with Fivecoate and Skogman absent.

 

It was moved by Soyring and seconded by Hunter to adjourn the regular meeting and open the Public Hearing. The motion carried with Fivecoate and Skogman absent.

 

The purpose of the public hearing is to consider a request made by Bruce Kochevar, for a Conditional Use (CUP) Permit. The CUP is for the use of a shipping container as an accessory structure. The property is legally described as follows:

Ed Roskoski stated that his brother Ray has no objections, there were no written comments received.

 

It was moved by Soyring and seconded by Hunter to close the public hearing and reopen the regular meeting. The motion carried with Fivecoate and Skogman absent.

It was moved by Soyring and seconded by Hunter to close the public hearing and reopen the regular meeting. The motion carried with Fivecoate and Skogman absent.

 

It was moved by Soyring and seconded by Hunter to recommend to the City Council to approve the CUP for Bruce Kochevar. The motion carried with Fivecoate and Skogman absent.

 

It was moved by Hunter and seconded by Techar to recommend to the City Council to approve the CUP for James Neault. The motion carried with Fivecoate and Skogman absent.

 

During Public Forum Ed Roskoski inquired about a lot in Ann’s Acres and one in Unity II about drainage problems being created.

 

Jerry Kujala responded that this would be a civil matter, not a City matter.

At 7:35p.m. it was moved by Hunter and seconded by Soyring to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried with Fivecoate and Skogman absent.
