The August 25, 2021, Parks and Recreation Meeting was called to order at 5:40 by Joe Prebeg. Members present: Natalie Pankratz-Leff, Jon Loeffen Jon Loeffen and Arin Marks. Absent Dennis Benz and Tara Lamourea. Also present Craig Wainio, Tim Satrang and Donna Johnson. Meeting took place at the West Two Rivers Campground.
Pankratz-Leff moved and Loeffen seconded to approve the February 19, 2020 meeting minutes. Motion carried unanimously.
No Public Forum.
New Business:
The Board welcomed new member Arin Marks.
New Officer Elections were tabled.
West Two Rivers Campground issues were discussed:
- Bugs are an issue in the bathrooms when they are open
- New dock by site 42 on the east side
- Refunds be put back on card
- Goose control measures and cleanup on beach
- Pavilion slab
- Buildings are in good shape
- Electrical system improvements
- Parking
Moved by Loeffen and seconded by Marks to move forward with a plan for electrical improvements. Motion carried 4-0.
Motion was made by Pankratz-Leff and seconded by Marks to adjourn at 6:40 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
