The January 22, 2020, Parks and Recreation Meeting was called to order at 5:30 by Jerry Kujala. Members present: Jerry Kujala, Joe Prebeg Natalie Leff, Jon Loeffen and Tara Lamourea,. Absent Dennis Benz and Steve Hunter.  Also present Craig Wainio and Anna Amundson.

New Boardmember Jon Loeffen was introduced

No Public Forum.

New Business:

The West Two Rivers Campground was discussed.  Staff is to contact last year’s manages and determine if there is a willingness to return for the 2020 season.  If not the consensus was to go out and advertise for the position.

The Board request to review the rates at the next meeting.

Other discussions took place regarding a possible extension to the archery range in South Grove.  Kiddy skating rink and an open LED sign for the rink.

Amundson updated the Board on Merritt Days and the Nanti Run this fall that has 52 runners.

Next meeting is scheduled for February 19 at 5:00pm.

Motion was made by Prebeg and seconded by Lamourea to adjourn at 6:12 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
