Meeting Minutes for November 04, 1998
MOUNTAIN IRON CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
NOVEMBER 4, 1998
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Brunfelt with the following members present: Carolyn Olsen, Stephen Skogman, Joe Matanich and Mayor Mitchell Brunfelt. Absent member included: Curt Piri. Also present were: Craig J. Wainio, City Administrator; and Jill M. Forseen, Deputy Clerk.
It was moved by Skogman and supported by Matanich to adopt Resolution #45-98, General Election Canvas of Votes, (a copy is attached and made a part of these minutes). The motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote.
Mayor Brunfelt congratulated Councilor Skogman and Matanich for winning the election and he thanked the other candidates for running for office and taking an interest in the City by giving the residents of Mountain Iron a choice in the election process.
Councilors Matanich, Olsen, and Skogman congratulated Mayor Brunfelt on being re-elected for another term as Mayor.
At 6:02 p.m., it was moved by Olsen and supported by Skogman that the meeting be adjourned. The motion carried.
