January 25, 2023 Minutes

The January 25, 2023, Parks and Recreation Meeting was called to order at 5:35 by Joe Prebeg. Members present: Joe Prebeg, Macy Saari-Nelson, Casey Kitner and Arin Marks. Absent: Steve Hunter, Dennis Benz and Jon Loeffen.  Also present Craig Wainio and Tim Satrang. 

Marks moved and Kitner seconded to approve the May 25, 2022 meeting minutes.  Motion carried unanimously.

New Business:

Marks moved and Kitner seconded to keep the 2023 recreation program fees the same as they were in 2022.  Motion carried unanimously.

Kitner moved and Marks seconded to approve the South Grove Recreation complex parking concept with 71 spots with the removal of the peninsula.  Motion carried unanimously.

Prebeg moved and Marks seconded to work with the Kostich bench group to place a memorial bench in the South Grove Park.  Motion carried unanimously.

Marks moved and Kitner seconded to have Benchmark Engineering look into the parking situation at the Wolf Park.  Motion carried unanimously.

Motion was made by Marks and seconded by Saari-Nelson to adjourn at 6:40 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
