Meeting Minutes
May 14, 2019
A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoate at 5:05 p.m. with the following members present: Barb Fivecoate, Al Stanaway, Mary Jacobsen, Gary Skalko, Bob Voss, Andrea Wilson and Peter Zattoni. Absent members: None. Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.
Skalko moved and Stanaway seconded to approve the consent agenda. Motion carried 6-0 on a roll call vote.
Chris Ismil and Janelle Greschner from the IRRRB and a representative from Northspan were present at the meeting to discuss the information provided about shovel ready sites including meeting the DEED shovel ready sites requirements. Next steps are to get title opinions, Phase 1 and Wetland information. Jacobsen moved and Fivecoate seconded to move ahead with site B. Motion carried unanimously.
Wainio updated the group on Heliene and the proposed solar development.
Skalko moved and Stanaway seconded to run a new ad for Woodland Estates. Motion carried unanimously.
Skalko moved and Zattoni supported to adjourn the meeting at 6:10 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
