Meeting Minutes

May 4, 2021

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoat at 5:02 p.m. with the following members present: Mary Jacobsen, Peggy Anderson, Joe Prebeg, Barb Fivecoate, Peter Zattoni and Andrea Wilson.  Absent members: Bob Voss.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Jacobsen moved and Wilson seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 6-0 on a roll call vote.

Elections of officers, white ballot was moved by Zattoni and supported by Fivecoate.  Motion carried 6-0.

Wainio updated the group on Heliene funding, ERATS, Northland Lawn, new Rock Ridge development, Aultman’s project, YMCA and Plaza 53.

Fivecoate moved and Jacobsen seconded to approve SEH as the architect for the proposed Heliene expansion.  Motion carried 6-0.

Jacobsen moved and Zattoni supported to adjourn the meeting at 5:30 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
