Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

April 2, 2019

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoate at 5:26 p.m. with the following members present: Barb Fivecoate, Al Stanaway, Mary Jacobsen and Peter Zattoni.  Absent members: Gary Skalko, Bob Voss and Andrea Wilson.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Stanaway moved and Zattoni seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 4-0 on a roll call vote.

Chris Ismil and Janelle Greschner from the IRRRB were present at the meeting to discuss setting up possible shovel ready sites including meeting the DEED shovel ready sites requirements.

Zattoni moved and Stanaway seconded to identify Site F and Site B including north of Heliene as priority industrial sites. Motion carried unanimously.

Fivecoate moved and Jacobsen seconded to identify Site C as a priority commercial site. Motion carried unanimously.

Jacobson moved and Zattoni supported to adjourn the meeting at 6:44 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
