Meeting Minutes

January 18, 2022

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoate at 5:12 p.m. with the following members present: Peggy Anderson, Peter Zattoni, Joe Prebeg, Barb Fivecoate, and Andrea Wilson.  Absent members: Mary Jacobsen.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Zattoni moved and Wilson seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 5-0 on a roll call vote.

Zattoni moved and Wilson seconded to keep the officers the same as in 2021. Motion carried 5-0

Fivecote moved and Prebeg seconded to approve Pay Request Number 3 from Max Gray Construction.  Motion carried unanimously.

Fivecoate moved and Zattoni seconded to approve Pay Request Number 4 from Max Gray Construction.  Motion carried unanimously.

Prebeg moved and Wilson seconded to approve Pay Request Number 1 Minnesota Power.  Motion carried unanimously.

Wilson moved and Wilson seconded to approve the 2021 Audit proposal from Walker Giroux and Hahne.  Motion carried unanimously.

Wilson moved and Zattoni supported to adjourn the meeting at 5:36 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
