Meeting Minutes

October 19, 2016

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Tony Zupancich at 5:33 p.m. with the following members present: Mary Jacobsen, Barb Fivecoate, Andrea Wilson, Sue Tuomela, Bob Voss and Tony Zupancich.  Absent members: Peter Zattoni.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Voss moved and Tuomela seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 6-0 on a roll call vote.

Wainio updated the Board on Rock Ridge.  Board inquired about holding a restaurant session to get new restaurants up here, they indicated that Rocky would be a great resource and would like to have a meeting with him to discuss.  The Board requested that a copy of the declarations concerning Woodland Estates be mailed to all members.

Voss moved and Fivecoate seconded to being looking for a contractor for snow removal at Woodland Estates for the 2016-2017 winter.  Motion carried 6-0.

Voss presented some issues with the repaving of the patch on Tamarack, Staff will review.  Wainio to contact the electric, gas and cable companies for Woodland Estates.

Wilson moved and Jacobsen supported to adjourn the meeting at 5:57 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
