Regular Meeting Minutes

February 3, 2016

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Tony Zupancich at 5:30 p.m. with the following members present: Barb Fivecoate, Tony Zupancich, Peter Zattoni, Mary Jacobsen, Bob Voss and Andrea Wilson.  Absent members: Sue Tuomela.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Voss moved and Fivecoate seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 6-0 on a roll call vote.

Wainio updated the Board on the project we are working with Rockie, workforce housing, IRRRB Funding and the County Road 7 development.

Jacobsen moved and Voss supported to keep the officers the same as in 2015.  Motion carried unanimously.

Voss moved and Jacobsen supported to enter into a financial planning agreement with Northland Securities to develop TIF District number 15.  Motion carried unanimously.

Voss moved and Zattoni supported to adjourn the meeting at 6:08 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
