Meeting Minutes

February 1, 2017

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoate at 5:30 p.m. with the following members present: Mary Jacobsen, Peter Zattoni, Barb Fivecoate, Andrea Wilson, Sue Tuomela, Bob Voss and Tony Zupancich.  Absent members: None.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Wilson moved and Tuomela seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 7-0 on a roll call vote.

Wainio updated the Board on Rock Ridge, Gas, and Silicon Energy.

Tuomela moved and Wilson seconded to nominate Fivecoate as President.  Motion carried 7-0.

Fivecoate moved and Stanaway seconded to nominate Wilson as Vice President.  Motion carried 7-0.

Voss moved and Wilson seconded to nominate Tuomela as Secretary.  Tuomela declined.

Fivecoate moved and Zattoni seconded to nominate Jacobsen as Secretary.  Motion carried 7-0.

Board consensus was not to move forward with the Spring Creek loan request.

During open discussion, a Woodland Estates open house and sing was discussed.  Stanaway thanked the board and was glad to be back on.

Jacobsen moved and Wilson supported to adjourn the meeting at 6:05 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
