Regular Meeting Minutes
April 6, 2016
A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Tony Zupancich at 5:30 p.m. with the following members present: Barb Fivecoate, Tony Zupancich, Peter Zattoni, Sue Tuomela, Mary Jacobsen, Bob Voss and Andrea Wilson. Absent members: None. Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.
Tuomela moved and Jacobsen seconded to approve the consent agenda. Motion carried 7-0 on a roll call vote.
Wainio updated the Board on the workforce housing and the Rock Ridge TIF.
Jacobsen moved and Tuomela supported to authorize payment for Pay Request Number 1 for the tree clearing at woodland estates. Motion carried 7-0 on a roll call vote.
Jacobsen moved and Fivecoate supported to approve the agreement for the purchase of wetlands credits and authorize the payment for the credits. Motion carried 6-1 on a roll call vote with Voss voting no.
A meeting of the housing subcommittee was scheduled for April 12th at 3:00pm.
Tuomela moved and Voss supported to adjourn the meeting at 6:19 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
