RESOLUTION NUMBER 22-26

AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN IRON TO MAKE APPLICATION TO AND ACCEPT FUNDS FROM THE MARY C. MURPHY LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION – ACCESSIBILITY FUND FROM THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

WHEREAS, the Mountain Iron City Council approves of the attached application for the Step-Up Project at the Mountain Iron Public Library; and,

WHEREAS, the Mountain Iron City Council agrees to accept funding for the underlying project from the Mary C. Murphy Library Construction – Accessibility Fund in the amount of $34,980.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN IRON, MINNESOTA, that this does hereby adopt this Resolution.

DULY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 3rd DAY OF AUGUST, 2026.
