Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

April 21, 2026

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Steve Giorgi at 5:00 p.m. with the following members present: Brad Gustafson, Steve Giorgi, Corey Nelson, Barb Fivecoate and Alan Johnson.  Absent members: Julie Buria and Eric Monson. Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Fivecoate moved and Johnson seconded to approve the consent agenda as amended.  Motion carried 5-0 on a roll call vote.

Gustafson moved and Nelson seconded to sever the relationship with Tapestry.  Motion passed 5-0.

Gustafson moved and Fivecoate supported to advertise the broadband survey in the papers and utility bills with a deadline of June 30th.  Motion carried unanimously.

USS gate site and DEED, Data Center and Woodland Estates was discussed.

Gustafson moved and Fivecoate seconded to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.
