091725 PR Minutes

The September 17, 2025, Parks and Recreation Meeting was called to order at 5:30 by Brad Gustafson. Members present: Brad Gustafson, Macy Saari-Nelson, Arin Marks, Casey Kitner, Kristina Hawkins, Jason Inmon and Dan Lind.  Absent: None. Also present Craig Wainio and Mayor Anderson. 

Saari-Nelson moved and Lind seconded to approve the May 28 and July 30, 2025 meeting minutes.  Motion carried unanimously.

Public forum: None

Old Business:  Lind moved and Marks seconded to recommend to the City Council that it move forward with plans and specification on the South Grove Recreation Complex.  Motion carried unanimously.

New Business:  Meeting with the West Two Rivers Campground Caretakers.  Requested ladder ball, bean bag boards, WIFI, merchandise and seasonal sites.  Moved by Lind seconded by Kitner that if someone is staying longer than a week they are responsible for mowing the grass at their campsite.  Motion carried unanimously.  Saari-Nelson moved and Inmon seconded to implement a seasonal rental policy at the normal month/y rate times four upon a deposit of $500 and the balance to be paid prior to March 1.  Motion carried unanimously.

Motion was made by Lind and seconded by Kitner to adjourn at 6:46 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
