The May 28, 2025, Parks and Recreation Meeting was called to order at 5:30 by Brad Gustafson. Members present: Brad Gustafson, Macy Saari-Nelson, Casey Kitner, Arin Marks, Kristina Hawkins, Jason Inmon and Dan Lind. Absent: None. Also present Craig Wainio and Mayor Anderson.
Lind moved and Saari-Nelson seconded to approve the March 26th, April 1st and April 23rd, 2025 meeting minutes. Motion carried unanimously.
Public forum: Campground hosts described activities, projector and screen for movie night, Facebook access for updates and mosquito spray.
New Business:
South Grove Recreation Complex was discussed. It was moved by Kitner and seconded by marks to further explore building B on location C. Motion carries 7-0.
The park tour was discussed. Marks moved and Kitner seconded to move the NLC playground equipment to the West Virginia Park motion carried 7-0.
Open Discussion:
Filming at the campground, scorecards for the disc golf course, 4th of July volunteers were discussed.
Motion was made by Lind and seconded by Gustafson to adjourn at 6:28 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
