Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

August 13, 2024

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Brad Gustafson at 5:01 p.m. with the following members present: Peggy Anderson, Corey Nelson, Kim Koebensky, Julie Buria and Brad Gustafson.  Absent members: Barb Fivecoate and Alan Johnson.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Buria moved and Gustafson seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 5-0 on a roll call vote.

Councilor Prebeg gave an update on Superior Fuels proposed development.

Viking Coke, Monsters Ink, NE Enterprise Drive Wetlands and housing scoring were discussed. 

Kootasca and Tapestry housing developments where discussed.

Gustafson discussed the Main Street program and the Age Friendly Community program.

Buria moved and Nelson seconded to adjourn the meeting at 5:30 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
