Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

January 9, 2024

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Brad Gustafson at 5:00 p.m. with the following members present: Peggy Anderson, Corey Nelson, Alan Johnson, Barb Fivecoate and Brad Gustafson.  Absent members: Julie Buria.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Johnson moved and Nelson seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 4-0 on a roll call vote.

Enterprise Drive Northeast and IRRRB grant were discussed.

Fivecoate arrived at 5:10.

Johnson moved and Nelson seconded to accept the 2023 Audit proposal from Walker, Giroux and Hahne.  Motion carried 5-0.

Gustafson discussed a Mediacom Broadband Application.  Mesabi Fit opening.

Fivecoate moved and Gustafson seconded to send a letter to Peter Zattoni thanking him for his service.  Motion carried unanimously.

Fivecoate moved and Nelson seconded to adjourn the meeting at 5:26 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
