Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

September 7, 2021

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Andrea Wilson at 5:03 p.m. with the following members present: Peggy Anderson, Peter Zattoni, Mary Jacobsen and Andrea Wilson.  Absent members: Joe Prebeg, Barb Fivecoate, and Bob Voss.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Anderson moved and Zattoni seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 4-0 on a roll call vote.

Zattoni moved and Anderson seconded to award the bid for the expansion of the EDA’s building to Max Grey Construction of Hibbing.  Motion carried unanimously.

Wainio brought up the offers to purchase from the Johnson property and the Edwards/Anderson property.  No action was taken

Jacobsen moved and Wilson supported to adjourn the meeting at 5:27 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
