Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

December 9, 2025

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoate at 5:03 p.m. with the following members present: Brad Gustafson, Corey Nelson, Steve Giorgi, Barb Fivecoate, Eric Monson and Alan Johnson.  Absent members: Julie Buria. Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Monson moved and Johnson seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 6-0 on a roll call vote.

Giorgi moved and Fivecoate seconded to invite Kootasca back to a meeting.  Motion carried 6-0

Fivecoate moved and Giorgi seconded to reach out to CTC and Paul Bunyan about fibre to the premise. Motion carried 6-0.

Nelson moved and Gustafson seconded to refurbish the signs on Enterprise Drive South.  Motion carried 6-0.

Nelson moved and Giorgi seconded to update the web site to include commercial properies.  Motion carried 6-0.

Fivecoate moved and Nelson seconded to adjourn the meeting at 6:55 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
