102418 PR Minutes

The October 24, 2018 Parks and Recreation Meeting was called to order at 5:31 by Jerry Kujala. Members present: Natalie Leff, Gerry Golobich, Jerry Kujala and Steve Hunter. Absent Joe Prebeg, Tara Lamourea and Dennis Benz.  Also present Craig Wainio and Anna Amundson.

Hunter moved and Leff seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried unanimously.

No Public Forum.

New Business:

Wainio informed the board that Stacey Johnson will not be returning to the campground next year.  Golobich moved and Hunter seconded to advertise for a new campground caretaker.  Motion carried unanimously.

The board discussed the South Grove Recreation Complex study proposals.  Hunter moved and Leff supported to recommend to the City Council that the proposal from confluence be accepted.  Motion carried unanimously.

Golobich moved and Hunter supported to advertise for winter workers.  Motion carried unanimously.

Motion was made by Leff and second by Golobich to adjourn at 5:47 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
