Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

October 3, 2018

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoate at 5:36 p.m. with the following members present: Al Stanaway, Bob Voss, Mary Jacobsen, Peter Zattoni, Barb Fivecoate and Andrea Wilson.  Absent members: Sue Tuomela.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Stanaway moved and Jacobson seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 6-0 on a roll call vote.

The board discussed Rockies plans, meeting with Todd, Heliene Solar, broadband and the old high school.

Voss moved and Wilson seconded to adopt Resolution Number 04-18 authorizing a grant application for the Fairview Clinic project.  Motion carried unanimously.

Jacobson moved and Firecoate seconded to authorize negotiations on the forgivable loan for the Fairview Clinic project contingent on receiving the grant.  Motion carried unanimously.

Voss moved and Wilson supported to adjourn the meeting at 5:55 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
