Mountain Iron Planning and Zoning Commission

October 28, 2024

Vice Chairperson Lauren Buffetta called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. with the following members present: Margaret Soyring, Al Stanaway, Barb Fivecoate, Mayor Peggy Anderson, Jerry Kujala, Zoning Administrator. Absent members:  Jim Techar

It was moved by Stanaway and seconded by Fivecoate to accept the Consent Agenda and minutes of the October 14, 2024, meeting. The motion carried with Techar absent.

Public Forum:

• Ed Roskoski reported that Superior Fuel appears to be bringing in more tanks on the Mud Lake Property. He also questioned three campers on Old Highway 169.

The Commission members expressed their sadness for the recent passing of member Steve Hunter and  sends condolences to the family.

The public hearing for October 14, 2024, was not properly posted, so it will be held on November 25, 2024, for Ordinance additions.

At 7:10p.m., it was moved by Fivecoate and seconded by Anderson that the meeting be adjourned. The motion carried with Techar absent.
