Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

October 10, 2023

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoate at 5:01 p.m. with the following members present: Barb Fivecoate, Peggy Anderson, Corey Nelson, Joe Prebeg, Alan Johnson and Brad Gustafson.  Absent members: Peter Zattoni.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Prebeg moved and Johnson seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 6-0 on a roll call vote.

The Woodland Estates Home Owners Association was present to discuss the Woodland Estates Covenants and Declarations.

Prebeg moved and Gustafson seconded to get estimates for the extension of Enterprise Drive Northeast.  Motion carried 5-0 with Johnson abstaining.

Fivecoate moved and Prebeg second to have the City Attorney meet with the Woodland Estates HOA to discuss the running of an HOA.

North Star Credit Union, Viking Coke and an EDA Budget were discussed.

Nelson moved and Johnson seconded to adjourn the meeting at 5:52 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
