Mountain Iron Planning and Zoning Commission

September 10, 2018

Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Steve Skogman.

Those Present: Barb Fivecoate, Tim Johnston, Steve Skogman, Margaret Soyring, and Jerry Kujala, Planning and Zoning Administrator. Absent Jim Techar and Steve Erickson

Motion by Fivecoate and supported by Johnston to approve the minutes of the August 27, 2018 meeting as presented. Motion carried. Techer and Erickson absent.

Zoning Administrator Report: AT&T has been in contact about a new tower on Jasmin Street inquiring about the required setbacks. The setbacks are the height of the tower from all lot lines. Also they would need a Conditional Use Permit.

Zoning changes will have to be made for a planned apartment building.

The Commission continued reviewing ordinances.

Motion to adjourn at 7:15 by Johnston and supported by Fivecoate. Motion carried. Techar and Erickson absent.
