Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

September 5, 2018

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoate at 5:40 p.m. with the following members present: Al Stanaway, Bob Voss, Mary Jacobsen, Sue Tuomela, Barb Fivecoate and Andrea Wilson.  Absent members: Peter Zattoni.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Fivecoate moved and Wilson seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 6-0 on a roll call vote.

Pat Surla spoke during the public forum concerning Woodland Estates.  The board would like to set up a meeting with Whitepine Builders.  Stanaway moved and Fivecoate seconded to have a sign erected. Motion carried 6-0.

The board discussed Plaza 53, Woodland Estates power issue and the proposed Rifle Range.

Jacobsen moved and Voss seconded to approve the 2017 Audit.  Motion carried unanimously.

Wilson moved and Jacobsen supported to adjourn the meeting at 6:20 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
