Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 4:04 pm. Members present: Carolyn Olsen, Peggy Anderson, Al Stanaway, Kathy Witzman, and Library Director Anna Amundson. Absent: Shannon Petersen and Marcia Bergquist. Motion was made by Peggy Anderson, seconded by Kathy Witzman to accept the May meeting minutes.
No communication. No Public Forum.
Director’s report: Summer Reading Program wrap-up: 84 children, reading just over 60,000 minutes! It was a busy summer with some great special events and room for improvement. The new library sign and stair strips will be put in soon. We are planning events for the fall and winter with some great Legacy programs coming in September. September will be a Library Card drive and Back to School month. We are trying some new strategies to get kids back to the library. With the school moving, we have lost that proximity and need to try new things to connect with kids.

New business: No new business.
Next meeting will be Wednesday, September 11th, 2019 at 4:00pm. Motion by Carolyn Olsen and seconded by Peggy Anderson to adjourn. Motion passed.
